Do you ever feel rushed, overwhelmed, hurried, worried, or just flat out exhausted from everything you have to do in your life and business?
Here are 3 Steps to Turn Around Your “Time” so that you can experience peace, joy, and fun while you work…
PLUS have more time to do the things you love. Here’s how…
Step 1) Clarify what you want to change.
—> no more rushing to get to meetings on time
—> taking 3 day weekends EVERY week
—> no longer STRESSING OUT about getting things done
—> freedom from OVERWHELM
—> making time to take a vacation every 3 months
Step 2) Notice what’s in your head
Pay attention to your thoughts about time over the next 48 hours.
Are you thinking and/or saying things like…
“I don’t have enough time”
“There’s too much to do”
“I’ll NEVER get all of this finished”
“There aren’t enough hours in the day”
Write down your thoughts as they come up. You don’t have to do anything with it yet, just notice and make a few notes.
Step 3) Clean out your thoughts…
The funny thing about time is that no matter what you do, it’s going to pass. You can either feel overwhelmed and STRESSED or you can feel relaxed, peaceful, and happy.
The difference has virtually NOTHING to do with the demands on your life (the kids, the job, etc.) It isn’t WHAT fills your day, it’s how you REACT to the demands on your time.
Clean out your thoughts by questioning them…
“There aren’t enough hours in the day” Is that true? Is that really true?
If we started over and gave everyone in the world 2 more hours in every day, what do you think would happen?
For a while it would be great, but after a year everyone would be right back to complaining, “There aren’t enough hours in the day.” Why?
I don’t know. Why does everyone spend almost exactly all of the money they make? You give someone a raise and what do they
do? They spend more.
Listen, your time is going to get filled up no matter what. But what it gets filled with and how you FEEL about it is entirely up to you.
Do NOT believe your “Time Scarcity” thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you WILL change your reality.
You’ll eventually find yourself thinking “I have all of the time in the world”. And it can happen a lot faster than you might think.
Until next time… “stay peaceful”
